O oswego37 Senior Member Sep 29, 2017 #1 I'm putting mechanical brakes on my 37. Does anyone know if the brake cross shaft assembly is the same for 36 and 37. Thanks,Ernie

I Ingram 33vicky Senior Member Sep 29, 2017 #2 I believe the 36 used solid "brake rods" and the 37 used cables. The Parts book indicates different prefix on the assembly in 36 and 37. I think I have a 37 in my pile of parts. email me at paulingram3@comcast.net if I can be of any help. Paul

JM 35 Sedan Well-known member Sep 30, 2017 #6 The '37-'38 cable brake cross shaft assemblies are completely different than the '35 - '36 rod brake cross shaft assemblies.
