Absolutely dual master cylinder system but not dual booster. You should consider a dual system conversion. Be sure it has an adjustable compensation valve to balance front and rear braking. The original single system is an accident waiting to happen. Any damage to the brake line from rust, etc, can leave you without braking with no warning.

The use of a booster allows braking with less effort on the driver.Yes I will run a dual master cylinder with the appropriate adjusting valve etc but it is which vaccum booster should I use that I am not sure about. Some say a dual booster is too sensitive for all round drum brakes and a single booster is not powerful enough for a front disc application.
Thanks all for your input.

Have used a single booster on drum and front disc system on the same vehicle with no sensitivity or "not powerful enough" issues.
Dual boosters are generally needed in 4 wheel disc systems.
