Brake Bleeding Pump

I bought this https://www.eastwood.com/powerbuilt-automotive-vacuum-pressure-testing-and-bleed-kit-648532.html
On 1948 type brake system. With vacuum you can suck fluid from the master cylinder and out the brake cylinder. On pressure it will not go the other way. I thought you could do this.

Don't know about the pump unit you bought or what you are attempting but its conventional to suck the system out from the master cylinder. Its certainly easier and better than doing each component separately.
