Brake adjustment issues

Everything was free and clean and moved well so I took some Emory cloth and worked the linings down. They appeared to be new. The upper lining seemed a little thicker than the lower. The old drum is apparently worn out and out of round. It is all centered up now. Everything looks good now. When I get it on the road some I'll check it again. Thanks again for the info.

This could indicate a worn axle tube where the bearing rides on the bottom. This would let the brake drum ride higher and wear the bottom lining more.
