In my 9 years of going to Bonneville, I always remember the early morning Sunrises. The best in the country.

Yep, X2 on that Jim. Especially a Studebaker with a blown big block. Will you and Ron be there this August?

Ha, whom are you trying to snow, eh ?
I happen to know that can not have seen the beautiful sunrise..at the time of day the you arise  !!

You guys drive tooo fast to notice things like sunrises, sunsets AND THE HUGE sign that is at the edge of the salt, explaining why it exists and who was the benefactor... Ok, who has seen / read this sign :)

Tim that would be Wells ?? 70 miles away. motel 6 ? stayed there before & this time will be there one night after attending Reno swap , enroute. That sunrise over the salt is one to remember , nearly as good as getting to wear Jim famous helmet, & Rons famous suit in Petes record holding 31 coupe. Now im hooked.

I just spent the night in my motorhome in the parking lot of the Red Garter last week. I was there to see Wendover AFB. Tried to eat at the Red Garter, but couldn't stand the tobacco smell (allergies), so had some Burger King.

Best of luck to you guys. Loved the Bert Munro movie. Back in the 80s used to race against Rod Millen when he first arrived in the US with a quick Mazda (SCCA Pro Rallies), never caught him though.

I hate to miss a Ford Barn party!!
