I am in need of a room for Bonneville this August. Want in Wendover and would like to have it Aug 11 or 12 thru Aug 16. Found one for 250/nite....not quite what I had in mind. Thanks to anyone who can help. Send me an e-mail or private mail. John

Wow that's nuts! I want to go to. Didn't realize the rooms were that much! This would be my first year so I don't know if there is any other hotels close by or not?

Welcome to speed week... Alternatives... Friends with a room, friends with an RV, sleeping bag & tent, etc....
Gotta make when they can, & not much in competition.
You might try plugging in some other 'odd- ball', non-event date for Wendover, and see what the rate runs ???

Last year we stayed a 8 days, room was 250 per day and the last 3 days were 55 per day, same room. They are all owned by same company, except the small ones and they charge the same. tim

Packages at casino offer 3 nite stay for $600 plus tax starting the 12th. My buddies and I going on our "bucket list" adventure want to be there for the 2 tech days, Thursday and Friday so we booked those nites at the same casino separately. Night of the 10th is only $45 and the 11th is $89. So, you can see how this fine example of capitalism works. Oh yeah, to add insult to injury, they charge you up front for the $600 package with no chance of refund if you should have to cancel. You can check at wendoverfun.com for availability.
