Body Work/Transport Stand

I'm looking for plans or dimensions to build a dolly/workstand for my Tudor body. Seems like I saw plans on Fordbarn at one time. Does anyone have these or a link. Thanks.

Sorry, no measurements. I used this on 3 cars. Not pretty, but it worked. I even installed interior before setting back on the frame.

I made a cheap body hauler that has worked great for moving the body for sandblasting, painting and to just move it around. It is made of 2 x 4's and the nice thing is I can disassemble it when I don't want to use it for a while - I don't have a lot of room in my shop. I used the wheels from my Sears 10 cu ft cart and bought some swivel wheels for the front. Harbor Freight has the wheels for a very reasonable price. I made an "addon" that is 2 sets of stacked 2 x 4's (7 if I remember correctly) that I can bolt onto the hauler to raise the body 12" to make it easier to paint. I am attaching some pictures of the body hauler. I also bought an engine lift that makes it very easy to lift the body on and off the hauler and sawhorses. Hope this helps.

This one also converts into a saw table when ripping lumber 8' long 34" wide 35''1/2 tall on locking casters. 1''1/2 steel tube stock

Here's the one I knocked together from left over lumber. Its now holding up my Dad's 29' Tudor. We added bigger tires as he has limited paved surfaces at his place.

I put 10 inch casters on a model A frame that was cut at the motor mounts. I can bolt through the body to the correct holes in the frame, and it rolls around nicely. I dont know why the frame had been cut, but I got the back half.

One additional thought.....whatever you build, it should place the body higher than it is on it's frame and wheels, so it's easier to work on lower portions without destroying your back, but still able to reach above the windows, without standing on a bucket.
