body colours for a 26 4 door

Don't have a web site but page 570 of the book MODEL T FORD by Bruce McCalley lists the colors for closed cars and the old codes. You may already have this info.

If you go to the MTFCA site & open encyclopedia, look under paint, it will give you the colors & old paint codes for all T models. There is a wealth of information there. Bruice McCalley's book is well worth having as well.

For 1926, the Fordor was offered in 'Windsor' maroon

Channel Green, Windsor Maroon, Another green that I can't remember the name and a Gray. Bruce McCalleys book is the place to go.

Doug-you are probably thinking of Highland Green.

IMHO, the 4 doors look superb with the Windsor Maroon which, all evidence I can find leads me to believe is the same as Ford Maroon used on the A's. A very dark and beautiful maroon that turns brown when weathered. I researched Windsor Maroon 30 years when I was wanting to paint my 26 coupe maroon, and that is what I found. Just to add a little confusion to the mix....

Greg, I think that is the one. The maroon is beautiful. I have a channel green car and if I was painting one, I would definately look at the maroon.
