When I rebuilt the '48 Mercury engine in my dad's '32 he had blue see thru spark plug wires on it. I have seen red ones for sale but as of yet have not see the blue. Does anyone know where I can find the blue ones ?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I wonder if you could take the clear ones and dye them??

I used to die plastic parts on radio controlled cars. Just normal RIT dye.
You'd probably have to keep the ends out of the water but if you did the whole roll at once it wouldn't be a big problem to lose a little bit.

Word of advice - These transparent/solid core wires should be used for points only ignitions. Solid core wires mess up electronic ignitions.

I should of never let the old ones get away from me. I'm sure I could of found someone to rework them for me. Oh well.

...there you go...another good idea for some one; create clear see thru wires in different colors; you could probally sell a bunch!

Ive been trying to find a source but cant. Found out that also makes spark "wires" using neon tubes to transfer the electricity so they actually light up and glow when running.

hbwoody,Now that is a very good first post. That will have answered the original posters question.
Welcome!

2 - 21" pieces @ $45.00 x 4 = $180.00 WOW!
Not sure 21" is long enough for the driver side.
It's a start.
