what's the diameter of a model T lens? AND anyone know if they're the same diameter as a model A lens? i bought a pair of blue tinted headlight lenses at hershey, they have an odd peaked triangle sticking out the front. i dont have pictures yet. i figured they were some sort of model T aftermarket lens or something. i plan to use them on my 1930 model A. aaaaaanyhow...my headlight buckets are in another state for some time yet, but i wanted to know if i might be able to use them in my model A buckets? or if anyone knows what they are (from my crappy description til i put up pics)?

8 1/4" dia for T lens to fit the stock T rim.

Violet Ray lens were made in sizes to fit many autos.

Those Violet Ray are period '19-'21 aftermarket in T size, during 1921 Ford made the 'H' lens to meet state headlamp laws. Prior T lens were clear or had green painted visor on the clear lens top section. The clear lens are round, and fit the early lens with 'fingers' that clip the round lens. Later rims have flat long clips for the 'H' lens, which has 4 squarish flats around the edge.
