Binding? Passenger Window Forearm Muscles.

I have spent hours working, thinking, trying to make this window work, it still doesn't. I am on the verge of removing everything in the door. I did find that the rear horizontal felt/track was pinched at the window frame. Just opened it up a bit with my hands and the window travels a bit easier. If, if the rollers are bad, wouldn't there be some sort of clunking, jerking? I am hesitant on removing the window, some sort of adhesive clump at the fore and aft position, how to soften it up to remove glass? The spring at the end of the window crank, is that difficult to remove, attach? It's just a mess, lots of years, lots of hands......

at this point I would just remove everything it is binding at either the roller or felt channel the spring is held in by the handle the rollers have a clip holding them to pins holding the 2 disks and I think a spring on the regulator

Well, if you are removing the glass from the door, the glass and the bottom channel come out together as a unit.
I forget the exact procedure, but you need to remove the bolts that hold the bottom of the glass felt runners to the side if the door and remove the window regulator. Reach inside the big square hole and slide the rollers out of the bottom channel with your hands then push the glass/channel assembly out thru the top.
Pull out the scissors-lift mechanism and inspect the rollers. The rollers are held on to the pins on the scissors-lift with a wire clip. You can pull out the wire clip using needle-nosed pliers to remove the rollers from the scissors-lift. Usually, the rollers just need to be cleaned real good and re-lubed with healthy dose of lubriplate, then put back together. If the rollers are rusted, clean up with a wire-wheel in a grinder motor. If the rollers or pitted, springs rusted thru or broken or there is excessive wear thru the tapered wheel halves, just replace the rollers. The new rollers they sell are made out of nylon instead of metal.
