bike speedo on a model t

I have used various bike speedos on my T's over the years, wireless works best. The coils raise havoc with the hardwire speedometers. Hardwire types are best utilized on the rear wheels, avoiding the electrical impulses of the coils.

A bike speedo is like any low voltage device. If you try routing the pick-up wire along with the ignition, it will not work. If you stay away from all T Ignition wiring, you can use the speedo's on any wheel and they are very accurate after you calibrate them according to the instructions.

They work fine on the T, just don't wrap the lead wires around plug wires, I lengthen the lead wire a couple of feet more to reach the left front wheel, the wiring on my magnetic pick up was color marked with strip so I kept the same polarity, works great! Calibrate by marking on the pavement a single revolution of the tire, and then load the cm or mm distance into the device......very very accurate.

I have used them on the left rear wheel and mounted the displays by the left corner of the windshield. No coil interference when installed this way.
