Old Cars just did a feature on that hideous 30 cabriolet that was on Ebay and Fordbarn. The owner says the bidding got up high but not to reserve. He didn't say what the reserve was but I recall he listed it here for $40K.

i think the ebay auction went to about 61,000 reserve not met.. pretty stiff for a car you cant drive except for in your back yard
 
NOTHING hidious about that car is has to be the coolest non stock or traditional A ever.
That being said I dont think its worth $60 + k.........
 
Pretty cool car, and it's the real thing, an original, not some monster that was built for a black rapper by the Bang-the-monkey garage. But whatcha gonna do with it? I don't think it's even worth half of $60K, but apparently some folks think otherwise.
 
I saw it in person at a Billings Mt. car show this summer, cool very cool it should go in a museum ... to each his own.
