Bib 2bbl carb on Mercury intake

I have a big 2bbi ford carb and a adapter plate that will adapt the 2bbl to the engine .Has annyone seen or used this set up.Also I had thought (I sudder at the thought) A chevy Distributer. I have a lath to turn it down and adapt it for a flathead. However What do I do about the advance curve to convert the weights and spring combination to match the rpm of the Flathead. Did I say that right Maby you all know what I am getting at. Thanks Lyle!!

For resetting the advance curve and limits, I would talk to local mechanics around your area and find out who has an old distributor machine. They should be able to do it for you. That's what I did here for mine.
