BEWARE: John Tumolo scam

My wife has been getting a "bill" from someone that wants to "fix a credit problem" that she supposedly has. They want her to send $335, even sent her a catalog of other "services" they provide. They are also persistant in that she has received several "reminder" notices, and yesterday received a "final notice" on pink paper yet!

Another scam that we got was a notice from UPS that a package was undeliverable and left at the Post Office(live in SMALL town with no home delivery of mail). You open the notice to get the tracking information and get a malware program that says your computer is infected with multiple viruses and trojans. When their screen comes up after starting your computer, you cannot go anywhere and they will fix the problem for $39.95. To get rid of this is a very difficult procedure, but have to start up in "Safe Mode" and can download a trial program from "Malwarebytes" that will remove the offending program. The process takes about 18 steps to get rid of this. The notice was sent duing Christmas season so no reason to not suspect that you have received a package.
