i am running an original low mileage rad on my 31 PU. it is in nearly perfect physical condition. it has developed a small leak that is hidden. there used to be stop leak that would fix an ax hole. but i guess the eco-nazis didn't like it. or something. anyway, what is considered the best today? thanx.

I have had good results with a product called "K-Seal"; comes in a blue bottle with an orange cap. About $14.95 / bottle. "Works with all anti-freezes".

Does not seem to be a "goopy" as Bar's leak.

It's been sealing a pesky block crack on my '28 for 2 months / 1000 miles now.

I recently discovered Silver Seal. It's been around since 1928. A good product to carry in the old travel kit.

Have a tube of Aluma Seal in the tool box. Have used the silver seal and even a bronze colored powder in the same sized tube. All have worked equally well in pressure systems. Hopefully I won't need to find out if they will work in the A system. Clyde
