Best Model T

I am interested in buying a Model T. I am pushing my luck with my wife as far as the purchase is concerned (I'll have to hide it in the corner of the garage for a while and can only conceal one car at a time). But what the heck - I thinks that it's worth it. I would like to know what Model T would be my best choice. The years that I am interested in are 1923 (my dads birthdate), 1925 (last year before Ford changed gas tank), or 1927 (last year of a Model T). Any thoughts - beside a good divorce attorney.

I liked my 1926 Touring, had all the updates that fixed things from other years. Best of all could take the entire family or friends in it...LouB.

I have owned many different years and body styles over the last 50 years and I want to say that all of them had their special meaning at the time of purchase. I would have to say that my favorite has to be the 26/27 coupe. Very little wood to replace or worry about, and a nice sleek looking model. If you want to haul friends and family then consider the same year touring model. Actually when it gets down to it I like all T's. Do like I did and add a different car every three years or so.
PS - keep the spouse happy all the time and it will be a lot easier.

Thank you all for your replies. I think I'll take the wife to the Model T & Model A show on May 18th in Shelton, CT. I'll be able to view a wide selection of cars there and talk to various owners. Maybe I'll get lucky and find what I'm looking for (besides a new wife).

In the past 30 years i've had roadsters, touring cars, six post delivers. But the
best all around was a 24 four door sedan. I done a ground up thinking I would sell it. I thought it would be to hot. Boy was I wrong. It had a cowl vent and
when you opened it. A long with the windshield and the side windows. No sun
beating down on you. Then in the spring and fall. When every one was cold I
was nice and warm.

This is the 1924 four door I had. Real good T.
