Is Bert's closed? I cannot phone (all I get are dropped calls or busy signals) or buy on his website (I get an error code).

Mike

I know on the website it seems to be running a captcha add on of some sort that is either out of date or broken. I can not surf the site anymore on my phone or now even my computer. If I google a direct link I can still get to it.

I’m only 50 so I’m too young to want to use a phone so haven’t checked that yet. [emoji16]

I went to their website and didn’t have issues, I’m not going to try my phone because their always busy, keep trying on the phone ! They’re no mountain time and closed Sunday Monday and half a day Saturday

This is Steve, the owner of Berts.

We are Open Tues- Fri 9-4 MOUNTAIN Daylight time.

We get 300-500 phone calls per day, 80% which are not needed, but we answer them all anyway. We prefer email, which we answer 7 days a week, and most folks just order online on our website modelastore.com.

For some reason 90% of those phone calls are in the morning using all 3 phone lines. Best to call in the afternoon

Sounds like a great part time job, answering Model A questions on weekday mornings so Steve can get work done.

OK, good to hear. I still cannot order from your website. I get something in the cart and then I get 'error undefined'. I tried calling last friday but the line kept getting dropped. This is why I am asking. I will try again tomorrow. If there is an email that I can order through that would be nice-if you don't publishing it. Or you can PM the info to me.

Mike,

email I always use is parts@modelastore.com

This email is published on their website.
I've used that email as well with excellent results. Steve B is very responsive to inquiries. Send an inquiry over the weekend and you will get a response Monday at the latest, even though they're closed on Monday. I LOVE small businesses where the owner takes a personal interest in making sure his customers are satisfied. Overdelivers constantly.

Steve B at Bert's runs a class act operation. Yes, the phones are often busy, but very good customer service.

Well my experience with one customer service guy left a bad taste in my mouth, it was late in the afternoon maybe he had a long bad day ? He said just take a hammer and straighten the starter shaft it happens sometimes ( with a
rattle can overhaul ) or just send it back at my cost for a possible refund ? I now know why other suppliers only overhaul your core !

That is a rare occurence. I've dealt with them many times, and can't say enough good things about these guys:)

I got ahold of them via email and ordered a seat spring. That makes life easy vs. calling or online ordering. Never had an issue with them and prefer Berts over the other vendors more for the shipping aspect. But I have dealt with all the major vendors.

Big hammer….
Take a big swig of something!
Bert’s can help you in many more ways
then most any other vendor.
It will be your loss!
