Bert's Engines

Good morning. I've found that Berts in Denver builds counterbalanced/ insert engines. The price is agreeable. Does anybody here have experience with this product? Good, bad or indifferent, I'd like to hear about them.
I'd like to hear about the experience before I write a check.

I have a Model B engine with an original CRAGAR head built by Bert's at least six or seven years ago and it is fast and reliable. I've been dealing with Bert's Model A in Denver for 20 years and have yet to be disappointed with the service and/or products. BTW, my engine has babbit. My only regret is choosing to have him paint the engine Ford blue!

Bert's is a good operation and they know their stuff. I prefer babbitt, but if you want inserts, Steve will do you right.
