Bendix brakes - leading/trailing shoes

Your picture looks to be for the Lockheed brakes.
Rule of thumb the way I was taught:
Lockheed brakes shoes; short lining on the trailing shoe.
Bendix brake shoes; short lining on the leading shoe.
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it... KGS
