Belt angle

Trying to reinstall AC in my car. A previous owner had installed a 58-62ish Ac system at some point. So I am replicating it-well trying to at this point. But my question is this:

1) Is the belt good to go even though it is off a degree or two?

I can tweak things a I am using washers to tighten/alight the PS pump. I just don’t know if I can move the pump back any more short of grinding away the support bracket arm bosses. Ideas?

Is the support arm bosses thick enough to stand a little grinding and still be 0k?

I think that is the route I am going to have to go down.

I’d like to see it better aligned than that. But I know I’ve seen worse that worked. If you’re not winging it to 5000rpm, a little better and you’ll probably get away with it. Slippage and belt wear will tell.
