Bob/Ohio Senior Member Dec 21, 2015 #1 I have a 39/40 era 221/239 engine. The letter stamping on the bell housing in the circle are H8L. The 8 is sideways between the H/L. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen this combination of letters and number? Bob
