He did have quite a bit of engine tooling, didn't he?

He had his own way of doing things. He placed a bushing in the block for the cam and honed it off center to bring the cam and oil gear closer. What this does is eliminates the use of babbit boring tools that use the cam hole for indexing in the future.

If you didn't take him seriously he was quite entertaining.
But mostly, to me at least, he came across as just another internet manure merchant with a mouth full of samples.
