Can some one recomend a battery number (Napa or Optima) that will drop into the battery box without interferance, It's still 6 volts. Optima is my first choice and i have no issue with straping it in place. Thanks, Frank
 
Bert's carries the Optima battery and you can get the correct number from them. They also carry a hold down for the Optima battery which works well. I have them on my 1930 coupe.
 
NAPA..Group 1, usually in stock or avail same/next day. Just my experience,I was there at 10am, had it 3pm, but we're about 8 mi from their dist ctr.

Sears sells 6v batteries that fit the battery box in the "A".
If I remember correctly, Sears calls these batteries "Classic". So far, so good.
