Battery hookup

Quick question - installing a new battery. Which clamp goes where? I have th braided cord and the insulated cord. Which one hooks up to positive and which one hooks to negative?
 
The Negative - post goes to ground. Your braided cable is likely the ground -it will be bolted to the frame. The Positive + cable will go to the starter switch. Your battery should be marked + & - , if not the larger post is the Positive.

Be sure your cable ends are clean!
 
To correctly answer your question, Jack is correct if nothing has been changed. However it's not stock we may need more information. IE stock or not?
