Battery Drain Kicking My Butt

I guess I don't understand the solution. What did" reversing" wires to tail lights actually do? Was this part of turn signal deal?

Should be a green wire going to the two stop lights and a black wire going to the three tail lights (including the license plate) Don't know where you swapped wires but It should not have repaired the problem. Next time get out a schematic. You can split the wireing in half by removing the three wires on one of the circuit breaker terminals this removes lighting and leaves the rest of the wiring in tact.
 
Hi there, There are only normally 3 wires going to the back of the car. Tail light, stop light and fuel gauge tank sender. Normally no power to any of them with ignition or lights turned off. Whats to swap ? I don't think its fixed. The problem is up the front not at the back. Make sure your dash gauges are switching OFF with the ignition and not powered all the time. Do you have an add on electric fuel pump that is not switching off ? Do you have an add on trunk light that is staying on ? Regards, Kevin.
