Battery Caps

[v8fordman]

I was cleaning in my grandfather’s barn and found a cigar box full of battery caps. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about them or if they had any value before I threw them away. Did the colors mean anything back in the day? Notice the ones on the right are either Ford script or FoMoCo script.

I wouldn't toss them out...put them up for sale on the swap meet here on the Barn. Someone with an old Ford script battery might have a missing cap or two and be thrilled to get them.
