Barrett_jackson 31 roadster WOW $$$$$$

Especially at the 7/10ths of ONE percent that the 'poor' banks are offering for your CD's!! May as well be buying toys heck with the bank. I guess the powers that be would rather you spend your money than save it anyway.

Try KMR. Yield is 6%. Or MO, yield is 5.7%.

Could have bought this for that money(my latest baby):

Let's say someone has a solid A Roadster they bought for $10,000 and they want a profesional shop to build a twin to the Barrett Jackson car what would it cost?

Still at $10,000 for the car and $20,000 for a restore you should get a better quality car. if you don't I would ask for some money back. hell if any of yall want I'll restore your A for $20,000 and it will look better than that.and I'll even give you a warranty

$10,000.00 FOR A SOLID Roadster 1930/31 ???? WHERE??? I have seen a unrestored solid standard roadsters sell at Hershey for $16,000.00 2 years ago and a Deluxe will bring more.. $20,000.00 TO restore it... Not in my book.... You will have at least $5,000.00+ in the complete drive train if you do it right from tires to tubes the valve stems to hubcaps to chrome bumpers to paint to engine and ****** rebuilt , rebuilding the brakes, rear end ,front end hell $20,000 is cheap...Check out the cost of a gallon of paint. X 2.

I was just watching Barrett Jackson and saw the most beautiful 29 TUDOR with the snow cat setup go for 60k.. It suprised me that it would go for so much money.

I advertised my 30 Standard roadster, for what I thought was a hefty price and I have been surprised at the responses I've gotten. It is a 32000 mile car,no rust, patches, dents, tears, etc.Straight fenders, hood, quarters, deck lid,one laquer repaint in the 50's that is blowing off in the wind.It has mostly attracted SERIOUS people.People who know what a straight car is worth to begin with.As most say, they won't be spending thousands more in bodywork.I'm starting to get scared somebody may actually fork over the cash.I have three A's on the road as it is,so I thought I might sell off the one that gets the least use.I do get a few that say they can buy a restored car for just a little more, but for the most part they are people that just don't know what they are talking about. When I hear the words,'all restored' I think, that means most of the bolts will come out easy to take it apart.I worked on an $18,000 restored roadster.$1500.went into the brakes and a little more could have been spent.Shiny, pretty junk.
