Never seen one like that, looks way bigger than the Barrett 500 I have.
What is the spindle diameter?

Bob

The Barrett has different operation of the cutter, most other lathes the cutter advances ay steady rate, a fine screw thread, the barrett makes a full turn plus a little then advances the cutter so there can't be a problem with the "threaded" cut lifting shoes off backing plate ---the smaller one I have ---smaller one has adapters for the rear drums that work with the wheel bearing and seal in place
