Banjo differential carrier interchange question...

I'm rebuilding a '33 banjo rearend. The differential carrier is not in very good shape and the inner bearing race spun on the housing, so I' don't want to use it. I have another pretty good carrier housing, but it is from a later model, probably '38. The only physical difference I see is a little more meat on the housing making it a little beefier in one area. Is it possible to interchange these housings? Thanks!

I think he meant the inner case, the one that houses the spiders, because he said spun ON the housing. That is the same (Except '32, only the late rear)...outer banjo is different after '34, of course...So, Randy, which? 4205-6 or 4017?

Bruce, you're correct, it's the 18-4206 that the inner bearing race spun on.
