Balancing flywheel & pressure plate

My local machine shop balanced my flywheel, no problem. Had to take off a bit and its perfect. They add a new/Chinese pressure plate and they can't get it to settle down: add weight here, now add weight there, now some here...

Ideas? Thanks, Joe

Something is moving.
They should be balancing the clutch cover with NO disc installed so maybe the cover bolts are bottoming and the cover is not tight to the flywheel.

I have all my engine balanced, the flywheel are always very close, But I've had some real out of balance pressure plates. I one PP out 100 grams, had to junk it. Walt

if you are going to buy a chinesse p/p you may as well make one your self, if you do i bet its a lot better than the chinesse junk, have your old one rebuilt or get one from isreal or mexico, you will have better luck

Bratton's have new V8 pressure plates, I believe they are USA made ? I have used one with no problem of balancing. No core is required.

All of the new Model A pressure plates are made in China and I know at least some or most of the V8 ones are as well. I prefer rebuilt Ford USA made pressure plates which is what we sell.
