Hay y'all, I am looking for away to balance the my tires. Looking in the January/February 2010 issue of V8 Times (page 8) there is an add for a wheel plate that enables the tires to be balanced on modern balancing equipment. :)

I have emailed the vendor but have yet gotten a response. Do any of you have any information or an idea on how to best balance my tires?

I have used this low tech method for years: spin front wheel by hand, when it stops mark top with chalk... Do this many times, both directions... If there is a pattern on one side of the wheel, add a couple of wheel weights in the center of these marks. Erase chalk, repeat process until wheel stop marks are all around the tire...
I did this on my AV8, before i got a bubble balancer (yeah, I know it's a funky method also). The A has been to 85 MPH a few times, no noticable balance issues...
This only works on front wheels...
I don't know who may have one, but older shop may be able to spin the wheel on the car, a vastly superior method
