Bakersfield EV8 meet

I was able to attend two days of the meet at Bakersfield. I met up with John Mason and Frank Miller, so I guess we were the East Coast reps. I got to ride along with them on a couple of tours. The first day tour was to a private collection.
The second day tour was to the Sunset Migratory Labor camp. On the way back something punctured the right rear tire. We ended up changing it a block away from the host hotel. In the hotel lot a 40 Coupe was being tended to. from the position the owner was working I assumed there was a starter issue.
All in all it was a great time, although too short.

Thanks for sharing! Anyone else have pics? John M. or Frank M.?

Pat

Pat, I have many pictures taken during the Bakersfield Meet but could not post them here from my iPhone. They are however all posted on Facebook. They have a much easier system for posting many large pixel pictures very quickly.

John ,Frank and i at Trog! it was nice to see them!

[FONT=&quot]What an incredible assemblage of beautiful Fords! Never saw so many convertibles and pick-ups in one place at one time! Guess I lead a very sheltered life! Thank you for sharing!
