backup light

I'm installing a backup light on my 47 and wondered what kind of switch was used to turn it on/off? Coolcoupe

I would like to know the answer to this either. I have seen a few other implementations but they are not looking good as the switch is very well situated open just under the casing of the steering wheel.

To make things worst, they are linked through a simple black electrical tape which does not give the whole car the justice it needs to preserve its beauty and class.

I think 49-50 up had a back up lite as an option.Try and find out what was used as a switch,probebly attached to the trans.and acuated by the reverse arm that sticks out of the side of the ******. ken ct.
