Back up lights 59 Edsel

A column shift automatic trans?
I'm not familiar with the full sized Fords or Edsels but backup light switches on the smaller ones use a combination neutral safety & backup light switch. It has 4 wires coming out of it, 2 wires for the backup light circuit and the other 2 for the NSS. Example photo: this switch is from an automatic car with a floor shift. The '59 Edsel wiring diagram at the first link below may show a combination type switch as well.
If you find something similar, it could be what you're looking for.
Manual trans? it would be just a 2 wire switch.

Bear with me, this is from memory. If you have the Cruise o matic- Mile o matic transmission. Outside the firewall, at the end of the shift rod on the column, there should be a neutral safety switch with 4 connections on it. 2 are the neutral safety and 2 are for the back up lights. I cleaned mine but I think the switches are still available. There is a hole in the end to insert a drill bit to adjust the switch to start in park or neutral only.

Thanks all!

This is the switch I see on ours. I will start testing as soon as I get it off the rack.
