Back seat ?'s

Hi everyone:

Does anyone have a picture handy of what my back seat should attach to? My 28 sedan came with a non original back seat and I am replacing it with a correct one but it looks to me like there should be some wood between the seat-back and the car, at least that's how it is on my model T. I've looked in all my reference books and can't seem to find a picture. And , while I've got your attention, what is the spare tire bracket mounted to? I hope it's not just the one center metal brace.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Here's 2 pictures of the rear of my 2-23-29 Tudor. You can see there are two ways to hook the top of the seat back. My car is the transition period and has both the hook and the slot. The bottom of the seat back is held in place by a couple bolts.

The last 3 pictures are of a good unrestored June 1928 Tudor to showing the rear seat.

The second picture shows the bolt head for the spare tire mount.

Thank you very much Tom. A picture's worth a thousand word. Appreciate you taking the time to post that.

You're welcome.

BTW, I have a nice original rear seat bottom wood frame for sale if you need it. It's from a 29 Tudor, but I think 28 and 30-1 are the same part.
