:D Made it back in one piece with only 1 bad turn... Think i saw more of P.A. then i wanted too see.[lost].. [I just wanted to get home at this point] . I must say looking at hobbies of others out there, and some of my own as well ,the Model "A" Clubs both MARC + MAFCA are the best people to be connected with. Not to list names but some i had a blast with Steve C. , Scott Mc. "Timothy K. " Dean ..Dave Lopes and his wife Lisa are super great people[put on a BBQ in the parking lot]. Doug Clayton and wife too, just a lovely couple![Marco are you biting your lip on this ]l.o.l.] I cannot forget Jim Brand and his daughter ...Super pin stripe and touch up guy [must be he worked on the 68C for 3 days ]l.o.l. ...And Jim's daughter Sara[what a nice kid] Dave's son Mitchell, well not so nice [he's a judge] l.o.l. no just kidding, he's going to college at Notre Dame [congrat's]..The French Lick Hotel, well there is not a greater place i have stayed at in all my 39 years of Meets ! ALL The workers could not help out more ..even the 2 local bars :p. The 2 Hotels were restored to back in the days of the 1920's and were just unreal to stay in... the money it must of cost.[600 million for both to do].Mr +Mrs Cook were seen around [owners] and again plain Jane down to the earth people. Mark M.[thanks for the congrat's] after i received the Henry. He was more hopped up then i was..l.o.l. :) A GREAT WEEK ! p.s not bad since i replace the head gasket 4 days before i had to leave for the meet on Friday. 17 hour drive.

congratulations on the "Henry"! I have been an on and off 'regular' (usually 'lurker') on this site for several years, depending on the phase of restoration, and I've enjoyed your posts and seeing that beautiful car come together. What a proud moment that must have been, culminating all those years of work!

Peter..congrats, I too say the French Lick Resort was probably the best meet I have been to in the last 25 years. Yes there were many great people there as Peter mentioned. It is very nice to see the folks from CA, being on the opposite coast we do not get to see them that often. I hope Tim K and Steve returned their borrowed chariots from the resorts. Thanks to the host club and all the Model A people that made this a meet to remember

For those thinking about [Chariols]they were golf carts.Timothy on first day said I gotta get me one of them.;)..And so he did # 8 ."BUT" 1 key fits all carts and # 8 was fast and full of gas ! So when Tim when inside the hotel someone took # 8 and left another.:(.. [not the same he said] l.o.l. So over the day we will be looking for # 8 to reclaim.:o.. This went on all week back and forth with Tim hiding the cart at times...The day of judging [wed] the cart #8 was gone ... So Tim found #27 and took that. We drove to the other hotel and there is sat good old #8:) . So he left # 27 and drove back with #8 ... Someone called us just a bunch of big kids.:D.. To most "A" Members there we were by 25+years younger then they were [so i guess that make us a kid]...l.o.l.:p

it was a joy to judge your car Pete, as well as the rest. You, Gary and Doug truly deserved the Henry award, all the cars were fantastic and it was really great to be there with such great people@

NO NO not peter the great [not me] .... "BUT" when Timothy Kelly drove his TownCar delivery for a picture shoot at the golf club[what a view from" UP" there]before you pulled upto the front door of the Beautiful club house there it stood [A statue of PETER THE GREAT] where the driveway split ??? Had no idea what that was all about??? Who should be Great are the clubs who pulled this meet off!!!!!!!!! And Timothy Kelly with his GREAT collection of rare cars that he brings out[and not to be judged].I have not spent time to know Tim until now and over the 5 day of this meet people who don't know him should!. He spends alot of time ,money to help this hobby move forward . Works and HELPS with younger people which i met there. His wife which i never met must be a SAINT!!!!! I could not get away with it...l.o.l.[JIM i'll try to see you and with the car in first weekend in Aug." fun P.A. meet"]
