B carb float level

I have a B1 Zenith, B4 carb & wish to set the float level, no where can i find a figure like 5/8,s down from top of bowl like an A carb, I do have a fuel level guage which is piece of pipe with plastic tube but no markings on it, Anyone have a figure fron top of body casting as to where it should shut off ?? Derek,

The 1932 SBs page 9 shows 5/8ths inch in Figure 12.

They show measurment from top of lower casting like on Model A.

Hope things stop shaking long enough for you to see the meniscus in the float gauge!

Benson, thanks for that, confirms what i thought, Off to swap meet in morning, right where the earthquakes are, nearly 1500 in 5 weeks of aftershocks, most around the 3----4 odd one at 5, all very shallow, You go to McDonalds there & it comes with a free shake. ????

I used 5/8ths for 45 years or more and recently found this copy of the 32 SBs.

Make mine a Kiwi fruit flavor shake ... if there is such a thing down under!
