Awake again after a 25 year nap

Got the '36 fired again this morning after some fussing with the distributor. Man, does that get the ole heart thumping! Those new headers sound nice. The last time I had this running was in 1985. Good to get back to the flathead after playing with the A and the Mustang. Ed

This is how it looked in 1985. Looks the same today, just needs a good bath and to finish it up. Ed

ED PITTS .........................
I know EXACTLY how you are feeling ! Both my '34 and my '35 had been sleeping since 1985. I woke my '34 up about three years ago and I woke up my '35 about a year and a half ago. We have been having fun, since !
MIKE :)

A lot easier to work on and get started with the radiator off. Here are the headers in place. Ed

How much room do you got between the steering box and the header tube? Thinking about a set for my F-1 that i'm building. thanks Ken

That is a realy great and clean looking car Ed !!
My car never went to sleep yet so, I can't wake it up but, I do wake up the neighbors now and then!

Ken, it is about the same or maybe even a little more clearance than the original exhaust manifold. I like the way they fit and both sides bolt up with no problems. For sure the engine will breathe a lot better.
Ed
