Automatic spark advance

Have noticed there's a number of types of autumatic spark advance.
Any opinions on which one/type gives the proper amount of advance, is adjustable, if needed, and of course, dependable

I have the kind that goes in the valve chamber. It works well, BUT there is no adjustment, and if you have to pull the distributor for some reason, like to get a torque wrench on that nut behind it, the advance mechanism collapses in the valve chamber and you must remove the side cover plate to reinstall the distributor.

FS Zipper. LINK You can change weights/springs to change the curve, and set total advance range. You'll need a dizzy machine to accurately make changes, or you can order it set up to your spec. It uses a standard A dizzy cap, and looks somewhat stock. The casting is about 1/4" higher than an original.

Carlg, thanks for the Heads-up" on that Snap-on wrench. Just now bought one one eBay ( item #150806592053) for $60.00 and free shipping.
