Hi all UK fordbarners
I am planning to be in the UK for the month of March 2016. Picking up a car and then just travelling around. No fixed itinerary - just a wander around.

Wondering if there are any events happening that may be worth going to for Model A & T parts that month?

Not a lot happening in March John sorry. Still winter here.

Only thing I can think of is the NSRA Southern Swap Meet on 20th March. Tends to be wet, muddy, and I've usually bought all the stock A and T parts by 8.00am. Mainly hot rod stuff as the name implies.

If you are interested in T parts then Tuckett Brothers is a good place to have a root around. Best contact them beforehand to make sure somebody is there, as T's are not all they do.

For A parts you could go and see the guys at Belcher Engineering. Again worth booking ahead if you want the 'tour'. They have a stock of good used rhd parts, and ask them about their close ratio gearsets, ohv conversions and the new brake setup.

On the sporting side, the VSCC has a few trials running in March. I don't know the entry list but a few of the MAFCGB members are keen trialists and there's bound to be A's and T's on the hills. Again, remember your wellies

Hi, yes just to add to the excellent reply from Juggs, there are 2 VSCC Trials in March both of which will be well supported by myself and probably a dozen or so A's thrashing up muddy hills. Saturday March 12th is the Derbyshire Trial, based at Ashover, and there is the 2 day Hereford Trial based at How Caple near Ross on the weekend 12/13th March. Many thanks for the info Juggs and John. I used to visit UK regularly round Easter time so the weather is well known. Timing this year not of my choosing!
 
If your around the southeast at Easter there is Wheels day at Aldershot on Good Friday Hot Rods and almost anything else on wheels plus a few stalls

.There is a show at Newbury Showground on the Easter Monday The spring Vehicle Meet.
I will be at both of them in the Pickup Enjoy your trip
