Hey Everyone,

I've got a '51 Ford Victoria experiencing charging system issues. Can anyone recommend an auto-electric shop in the Massachusetts MetroWest area?

Thanks for the help.

Those are a vanishing breed. Used to be a great one in Natick, long gone. The only one I am aware of is Yankee Electric on the Cape in Hyannis. There maybe others in New Bedford. That whole MW area is now way to civilized to have that type of service. would do search and see what pops up, maybe Marlboro or Hudson.

Look up Henry in Wilmington, Ma. He con rebuild your Generator and can be very helpful. He posts on here. Sorry I do not have his info handy.kx

Henry is a Early Ford V8 New England member and a great guy. In Rhode island I have used; Yankee Auto Electric, Inc. 156 Division St., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
800-498-0291. After several tries at other shops, these fellows did a great job and had the necessary parts on hand (I had starter issues at this time).

Metrowest is sketchy. I'm in central Ma which is 40 miles to the ocean to the east and 90 miles to the NY boarder to the west. Go figure.

I took my starter to my local Auto Electrician. The young bloke that served me confessed that he had never worked on 6v stuff. The old timers are fast disappearing.

I don't know where MetroWest Ma is but I had trouble with my 6V pos ground alt on my A. There's a place on rte 5 (main st) in East Hartford, CT just past the old Kahoot's(old strip club, now closed near Pitkin st) on the right. He redid it for me (brgs, etc). Been working fine. Reasonable. FWIW
