Assembly plant AA truck

I would be interested to know where my 29 AA truck was assembled, I see from the archives that on most model As there can be code letters and numbers on the cross sill on the driver’s side near the battery.
My cab is stamped 5-15-29, the engine is 5-20-29, there are no numbers on my cross sill, could they be somewhere else.
Thanks Brian T.

Brian,

If your cab has been restored and painted, then more than likely the information for which you seek has been covered up OR the cross sill, that for which the front seat riser is attached to, was replaced. However, alot of original, non-restored cabs that I have seen, the data is not there.

Thank you Dudley and Steve,
Well I did find a number but not on the cross sill , I have 10 303, maybe 10 383 on the right door sill with no letters before it, the area I find these numbers does not have any over restoration work and is in good condition.
Dave Sturges, Assembly plants and body numbers indicates that Denver was the only plant to stamp the side sill? but should have DR as a prefix.
I was only curious to its origin, I also realize this cab could have came from anywhere during its restoration, if anything I would like to see if the chassis number matches the engine, but this cab fits to nicely to pull it apart, would the chassis number be in a data base as to the assembly plant?

No, The engine number was stamped when it was built and the frame was stamped during assembly. They should match . That means that they are the original parts from the beginning.
