Assembly Line (not Model A)

Not many humans, mostly robots including paint work. Small wonder that unemployment is so high. This is the way of the future.

Makes you wonder how far off the '100% machine-built car' is -- built entirely in the dark.

They left out a lot...and as long as there are robots there will be maintenance men. A lot of human intervention in re-work. Most of the jobs the robots do, you wouldnt want to do 12 hours a day.
Thanks for posting the link.:)

Imagine how long it would have taken to produce a Model T or a Model A if Henry had the benefit of all the machinery, robotics and computers that we have today....

Aussame, but puts many people out of work. ken ct.
IMHO... Automation has never put people out of work or increased unemployment. They said that during the industrial revolution when automation was at its highest, yet it was never true. People simply changed occupations. Wheelwrights became welders, buggy builders became autobody builders, etc. Unemployment is caused by other reasons, most notably by removing the incentive to work.

With OSHA and the EPA of today he'd have been lucky to get it off the ground at all....I'm more amazed at how much they were able to get accomplished back then with what equipment they had....and how many are still running today.
