...very comfortable to navigate........I hated the old format that this board had........but maybe that's just me....

What I really like here is that you can go to a specific forum and find nothing but questions and info on that topic only.....

My interest is in Early V8's and I am happy that there is nothing else being talked about here.....

I wish that the HAMB was divided into special areas of interest within the overall context of *traditional rods and Kustoms*........there's too much off topic crap discussed there.........my $0.02

This has a familiar feel, no more scrolling down 10,000,000 ads looking for the "key" word :) this will be good as it fills up .
 
Yes, much easier to navigate. But I haven't found the discussions from the pre-reformatted period, are they still posted someplace here?

Well, I am an old guy and having fun (?) learning the ropes. Mastered picture posting and now studying navigation around the site

I'm a HAMBer too, put have stone stock Fords and enjoy all pre 1942 cars. One feature I don't see here is the flag after a thread that you have posted a repiy to. Seeing the flag helps locate a thread that has an ongoing conversation. I hope all the past Ford Barn people sign up and post, this isn't a HAMB takeover IMO, just an improved system. Bob

I PM'd Ryan a couple days ago about the flag but haven't heard back from him yet. (course he prolly has been real busy.)

None of my sites are filled with garbage... If you think the HAMB is, you aren't familiar with the site or traditional hot rodding. Period.

I hope this site becomes as useful as the HAMB and I have every intention of making it so. Doubt me? Watch me. :)

John, glad to see your getting the hang of all the new changes. It been interesting and as more guys sign on, I think things will be better with the new format and things we'll be able to do. LouB.

sorry Ryan. I didn't mean to offend, Just that there has been a lot of trash talking on certain topics that I try to avoid....not in anyway did I intend my statement as a reflection of the quality of the Hamb or your job.

Just that I read some nasty threads before they got deleted.....;)

I'm on the Hamb under the same handle. I'm very familiar with the site.....
 
i find it strange that all you hamb guys want to come abored the ford barn..you certainly didnt when it was the old barn,so how come guys????trev

There's no doubt in my mind that over time Ford Barn will become as useful as the HAMB for everyone. For me personally, the changes you've already made, make the site just as useful as the HAMB. Ryan, keep up the good work.
