Are they really still out there?

As I dismantled my 20" 1-1/2 ton wheels today, and checked the viability of restoring some to be safe... Out of 8 wheels I found one good one, and one maybe ok. I sure hope I can find some decent ones out there... I am just hoping some are still around. Has anyone ever found some good barn finds out there?

I am looking for some for my 38 1-1/2 ton and my brothers 40 1-1/2 ton. I am not sure if his rims are different because of juice brakes or not. They look about the same width 4.33" and have 6.50 20's on them.

I have some that are still OK, not rusted too bad. From Colorado trucks. They are hidden under snow now but I will rescue them when the sun comes back. Shipping is a problem. I should have about 5 or 6.

nice! I am hoping to find some local as wel so I can get my tires mounted and get the old girl off blocks. Are the ones you have from a 38 ish truck?

We could use some precipitation out here in CT. Alot of fires are sprouting up. It hasn't rained in more than a month it seems. I will check back in with you when the snow clears.. Thanks

I have six big truck wheels that I would like to see go to a good home. I'm located in central MA. PM me if interested.

I only have 8 posts under my belt being new so it wont let me send a personal message. maybe if you send me a few messages I could get closer? I would love to check them out this weekend f possible?

Make two more posts (one may be thanking me for this advice), and you'll be "good to go".

Likewise! I'm so pleased the wheels went to someone who can use them. Looking forward to more progress reports on your '38.

ThirtyEight,
Your doing fine! We need some pictures of your trucks. Yes wheels can be an issue for sure.
I was lucky on my truck, all 7 wheels were able to be cleaned and reused with fresh rubber.
Will be watching your progress.
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl
