Slightly off topic I just sold my 1930 coupe which I drove thousands of miles in with absolutely no back problems . I now just have the 1930 Phaeton which although much more practical and a nicer finished cars tends to give me back problems . I'm convinced that the problem is that the seat is higher in the Phaeton and of course non adjustable . This means I need to twist when I get out/in to get my legs to clear the steering wheel. I plan to wire the springs to drop the seat and backrest a little bit. Does anyone know how far you can do this with out affecting the comfort of the seat?? Karl
