Need more help... This 6 Volt TO 12 Volt electrical stuff is killing me !!!

Will the 6 Volt convertible top up/down switch and top up/down relay work for 12 Volts...???

Also, are the existing 6 Volt breakers, temperature/oil pressure sending units and all other switches good for 12 Volts...??

Thanks in advance for any help...

The switches dont care about voltage. The relays and motors do. The sending units dont care. I have run the gauges for years on 12 volts with no problems. The starter will be fine.

I used a 90s Chrysler LeBaron top motor for my 55 and it went in the existing mounting holes and the original hoses screwed in,if your 54 has a relay for the top motor the switch grounds the relay to operate the motor so no power goes through the switch. I had the electronic guys at work make me up some relays to operate the motor, one for up and another for down. A 60s instrument voltage regulator works to cut down the voltage for the gas and temp gauges.
