AR gas pedal spring

Can someone post a closeup of what the spring is supposed to look like for this AR gas pedal setup? The spring broke before I got a chance to look at it and the repro springs don't work as they are designed for the later design.

I have an AR also but somewhere along the line the pedal assembly was changed to a later model. any idea where i can get one?
