Anyone used the wire wheel adapters??

I have a 26 T Tudor with wood wheels. I have a great set of 5 21" A wire wheels and tires. The catalogs state the adapters allow that switch to easily occur. (Langs, Snyders, and Birdhaven list them) I would like to avoid the very costly replacement of new hubs and wheels. I know lots of T hubs are cracked.

Anyone had any experience with this conversion? If so, any problems and how do you like it?

Thanks in advance!!

Curt

Curt you can use Model A front hubs on the T....but the T spindle is a 1/2" too long.
make a 1/2" spacer the put it on the spindle, then your hub. or cut a 1/2" off the end of the spindle. The rear A Hub will work on the T also...but Ive forgoten what you have to do.
Go over to the MTFCA site, all the info is there.

Thanks again.....if I recall a discussion on the A forum you live in the Virginia bay area. Spent several years way back when there in the Navy. Loved it. Am planning to haul my A out there when I take a memory lane visit soon. Cant wait to do some travelling with the A and see if the Blue Ridge Parkway Drive and area is still as beautiful!!!!
